Proclamation National Community Development Week of April 21-25, 2025

Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program funding was reduced substantially over many years; while recent allocations have been on the rise, the needs of our communities far exceed the available funds. In honor of the CDBG program that has provided local governments resources in an effort to meet the needs of persons of low to moderate income within their jurisdictions for the past 49 years, I encourage all CDBG grantees to celebrate and recognize the good work of the program during the 2025 National Community Development Week of April 21-25, 2025.
